Mo'Nique


Mo’Nique took a leap of faith when she decided to pursue a career as a comedian. What began as a dare from her brother to get on stage and entertain became her ticket to true happiness and motivation for all women that are not the traditional size of beauty. Actor and comedian Mo’Nique has broken down many barriers for women and comedians. Some of those barriers include: being the first woman to host “It’s Show Time at the Apollo”, earning the NAACP image award and starring as one of the queens of comedy. Today, Mo’Nique continues to entertain large audiences of comedy and spread the positive message that beauty is not measured by the size of a woman’s dress.
